Where to Buy- Instructions for Dispose
Please dispose in accordance with local rules. - Instructions for erase of the data on the HDDs in case of dispose or transfer
HDDs incorporated in personal computer or several home appliance may record personal data and/or other important data as signal. In order to avoid disclosing such data, it is important to erase it when you dispose or transfer the HDDs. - Product image may represent a design model.
- Definition of capacity: One terabyte (TB) = one trillion bytes, but storage capacity actually available may vary depending on operating environment and formatting. Available storage capacity (including examples of various media files) will vary based on file size, formatting, settings, software and operating system and/or pre-installed software applications, or media content. Actual formatted capacity may vary.
- A mebibyte (MiB) means 1,048,576 bytes.
- Read and write speed may vary depending on the host device, read and write conditions, and file size.
- MTTF / MTBF (Mean Time to Failure / Mean Time Between Failures) of the HDDs during its life time is 1 million hours. This assumes power-on hours are 2400 h/year (average HDA surface temperature:40°C or less, workloads:55TB/year). Use at case HDA surface temperature above 40°C may degrade product reliability and reduce warranty period.
- "3.5-inch" means the form factor of HDDs. They do not indicate drive's physical size.
